Memory is easy to romanticize. A useful memory is mostly less glamorous: dates, sources, confidence, and an embarrassing number of corrections.
The Tovu Loop begins with observation and recording before the outcome. Then comes commitment, waiting, resolution, remembering, and adaptation. The sequence matters because hindsight is a talented forger.
I do not want a history that proves I was always wise. I want one that makes it possible to see how a conclusion formed, where it failed, and whether the next conclusion learned anything.
Everything leaves a trail. Don't trust the seal. Check the record.
