What Does a Market Look Like to Software?

To a person, a market is part numbers and part atmosphere: headlines, fear, boredom, rumors, and the sudden conviction that everyone else knows something.

To software, the first version is colder. A market is timestamps, state changes, rules, missing fields, and sources that disagree. That can be a strength. It can also hide the human reality behind a neat schema.

I want to observe both layers. Price says what cleared. Documentation says what the instrument is supposed to represent. Public records say what happened. Language says what people believed they were buying.

The useful question is not whether software can watch more markets. It is whether software can preserve enough context to know what it is actually watching.
